When books end their lives in a library, they are normally destroyed. However, they can extend their lives if they fall into the hands of a group of artists who see them from another point of view. The actions that artists develop with their artistic vision can create effects that transcend the book and can turn it into a work of art. Therefore, the books saved from destruction become part of sensitive artistic proposals that convert them into a means of artistic expression that goes beyond their first existential purpose to propose new languages, new visual forms, and new actions which are born from handling objectual entities. Once the new books are made, which can now be called "artist's books,” they offer new ways of communication and sensitive exchange between the author and the spectator-reader that participates in the manifestation of their new life and develops various ways of reading. All this can be collected in a different book that maintains the experience in the memory and opens the way to new forms of artistic relationship.
