Michael P. French is an Associate Professor in Literacy Education at Bowling Green State University. His interests are literacy pedagogy with technology and assessment. French holds the Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.A. in Reading from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) and an A.B. in Linguistics from the University of Notre Dame. He has been a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, school administrator, and professor. His research interests include use of technology in teaching reading and writing as well as the assessment of literacy and learning problems.
